Default WR Amari Cooper is a Cowboy now!

Jon Gruden is shipping another young talent out of town.

The Dallas Cowboys are acquiring receiver Amari Cooper in a trade with the Oakland Raiders, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Oakland will receive a first-round pick from Dallas in the deal, Rapoport added.

Wait, so it's a 3 way trade with the Broncos then?

Not sure he's worth a first.

    Seems like a desperation move.

If Carr is the real deal they should be set.

They could have some NFL draft busts.

Default Raiders speak out against Jon Gruden, call Amari Cooper trade a ‘knockout punch’

For a 1-5 team the Raiders sure are interesting.

Head coach Jon Gruden hasn’t made many positive headlines in his first season back with the Raiders, and after trading away former first-round pick Amari Cooper on Tuesday, the locker room may be turning against him.

"The (Khalil) Mack trade was a real stiff jab," an anonymous Raiders player told The Athletic. "But the Cooper one was like a knockout punch, especially because we had just walked back in the door from the bye. We didn't want to believe it was coming, and Coach said we weren't going to trade him."

Then we all know what happened — Cooper was shipped to Dallas and many of his now-former teammates found out about the deal in the news because Gruden talked to ESPN before the team.

    Gruden is going full McDaniels.

Yep. I don't understand how you trade away good players and plan on winning games. Who would be so dumb?

Good players in their 20’s. Guys like Copper and Mack don’t grow on trees.

They're saving money and building up capital. Carr is currently throwing more INTs than TDs and I suspect he will be gone, too.

There's something to be said for a complete and utter rebuild.
