Thread: Practice / Press Conference notes - week 7 (Cardinals week)

I saw people talking in the other thread so we might as well start this one. We only have two days to complain before the actual game.

We played the Cardinals in week four of the preseason on a Thursday night ... and now we’re playing them in another meaningless game on a Thursday night. Yeah!

I’ll take a Broncos win in this meaningless game.

Why is the game meaningless? Is this an existential discussion?

I mean, it's not like we've been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention, otherwise the start of our epic SB run this thursday would not be possible.

This is ironic:

If only we ran more than 16 times per game.

I think the Rams were 30th in YPC allowed and that didn’t help us much

You can ascribe whatever meaning to this game that you want. I guess it’s not meaningless though - if we lose, I don’t expect VJ to make it through the weekend

It has all kinds of meaning. In fact, I'd say this is the most important game of the year so far, for multiple reasons.

#Broncos practice: Didn't see Ray (ankle), Dy. Thomas (chest), Veldheer (knee) and A. Jones (thigh). Leary (Achilles) is out for year but remains on the 53 for now.
