Only thing I can say is watch the video. Von isn't talking the "normal" pc stuff that he's been talking for awhile. There is an intensity to him that is refreshing.

Again, if he is only NOW on fire, then I'm more irritated with him than impressed. Ultimately, words are cheap. So is "intensity".

The hopefully thing was more a shot at VJ than Von though.

I get what your saying for sure. Have wondered where the passion/intensity/fire has been the past 4 weeks too. I don't think VJ knows what any of those words are, or mean. Sad really that they brought in a guy that hadn't even proven he could be a DC and made him HC. Give me a guy that has shown he's " successful" at the job he's doing already and has been successful for awhile. I can at least give that guy the benefit of the doubt as he learns the job.

I read that Von was responding to a question about Elway calling the D soft for their shitty run defense.

I agree, but that means it's time to fire VJ. It doesn't mean it's time for JE to do his job for him.

They could be setting him up to be fired. The D doesnt show up after saying they'll kick ass.
