I got dropped off at the car. I had to drive the car home. It didn't have enough gas to get to the gas station. It doesn't matter what gauges I looked at, it couldn't get from point A. to point B. Married for 13 years...Jaded is right.

I usually fill up at 1/2. Getting to 1/4 tank is very rare for me, or my wife. Perhaps it’s living in the northern tier winters that have made us like that, plus if there is an emergency.

I always wait until the light comes on. I like to live dangerously.

My wife's car has a mile counter. She normally waits until it gets down to about 5 miles to go...drives me crazy.
