Keenum holding the ball forever is a big factor in the holding penalties. Where are the quick slants, etc? Good coaching would minimize your QBs weaknesses (yes plural).

Josh Rosen was a very viable option. Paying Cousins was an option.

Keep talib. Stick with Siemian who clearly is no worse than Keenum. Maybe draft a QB that was still on the board at 5?

It's not like Keenum was the only option.

Its not just this offseason, its since Manning retired that they have tried to cut corners and go with "projects". This has been an ongoing problem if you have been paying attention to this team at all.

As bad as the Cards have been, why isn't Rosen playing?

Keenum has blown his best chance to be a franchise QB.

He won't be trusted to be the guy again on any other team. It was this chance or nothing and nothing has won out.

Or one, or two. Which is sort of the point - it was a big stretch to try to just slap in a game manager one year wonder and make the playoffs with a declining defense and weak offensive roster.


Elway didn't want a full rebuild, which he publicly admitted. So it looks like we're in a half-baked mess.
