Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good ....
I'm going to be very surprised if DT is on the team next year. Sanders is still balling but something is really off with DT.
He will probably be forced to take a cut or be cut.
After DT's comments about fans hating him, I've made a conscious effort not to be that way with him, but after the first couple weeks, he's making it real ******* hard!
Yeah, it was different, but not that different. I mean it was not like the 70s when it was common to see less than 15 pass attempts from QBs. The era of Montana, Marino, Fouts etc.
Look at the stat line for that game for instance. 1985, Broncos 11 and 5 season. This game stat line for Elway. He threw 1TD and FIVE ints. They won it 14-13.

I think 1985 was the only year he had over 600 pass attempts. Anyway, yeah. It was different.
Thats the funny thing though, its not even hate. Everyone knows that DT can play like the best of them but he has plenty of his fubar moments. And that is that is what is frustrating because he is getting paid top dollar but moments like today are why he is supposed to get paid that kind of money. Fans being frustrated by is drops is not hate, just an observance and that is ok. I do think Denver may part ways with him next year though if Patrick and Sutton continue to show great effort this year.
