yep. . . that's definitely what i was getting at. . . i would be super down with de filippo (or possibly lafleur) as HC, with MM as OC. . . both of those guys learned under modern west coast variants-- JDP under doug pederson, who learned from andy reid, and lafleur was with mini shanny IIRC. . . and mcvay. . . mccarthy is also a west coast guy, and as an experienced HC and playcaller, he'd be the perfect right hand man for a first time head coach. . . i would also be in favor of todd bowles as a DC. . .

i don't know that the current broncos share the philosophy, but there's no salary cap on coaches. . . i'm all in favor of getting the best you can. . .

I just wouldn’t want any DC that switches to a 4-3, although Denver has two legit 4-3 DE’s (Walker and Chubb) and zero 3-4 ILB’s. I want Von in the role he’s in.

Not sure but I think Bowles is a Cover-2 guy, meaning more zone for Harris. I could be wrong as I don’t know enough about Bowles.
