    Everyone seems happy for CJ.

I will always remember him for his comment that he wanted his opponents to 'feel his story' when he played. He still has that anger in his heart and it makes us all happy to see him get this opportunity and make something of it. Made himself a good statement tonight.

McVay is a solid coach but people are making too much of what he's doing. He's keeping it simple but being highly efficient. Having a great O-line and some talent at skill positions helps.

I disagree with this a lot, Hawg. He calls plays in combinations that are almost at the level of Reid. His pre-snap movement obliterates teams. He is running a Shanahan/Kubiak scheme but has been the first, to my knowledge, to do so with a beefy line that can overpower teams, as shown tonight. He's getting so much out of players that no one has before. Look at Robert Woods before his team in LA, and look at him now. Cupp is a nice player, but he's the type of guy that Belichick makes something out of...and now he's the type of guy that McVay makes something out of. He has a scheme so good he can take castoffs and turn them into guys who look like Pro Bowlers. And on top of all that, players love him. When he was a really young coach, and this comes from DeAngelo Hall, he'd walk up to the defensive players and pick their brains and they'd respond to him. Hall said no other offensive coach would do that.

Or, in short, his ability to maximize talent out of players elite and average, and modernize former offenses is astounding. The fact that he can keep control of that team, with those personalities, and turn Goff from Goof to Great is incredible.

Here are the coaches in the NFL who are better than him: Belichick, Carrol, Reid, and that's about it. I'm talking about coaching, not good coaches with intangible like Harbaugh, for instance.

He is the real ******* deal. He is Shanahan before the Super Bowls, and I don't think he gets one this year.

But next year? Barring injury? Oh baby, the Lakers won't be the only Showtime. When I typedt his post, I made the DeAndre Jordan stink face. And if you want to see something great, google that!

I'm bout to be three scotches deep. It's a god damned good night!
