Default Broncos in possible trade for Teddy Bridgewater

    https://247sports.com/nfl/denver-bro...ter-120855507/

As the Denver Broncos hem and haw over their quarterback plight, dots are being connected to one notable name.

    Teddy Bridgewater.

Sources tell Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News that "at least" two teams have expressed interest in trading for the veteran signal-caller, who's on the outs following the arrival of presumed rookie starter Sam Darnold.
Mehta didn't (or couldn't) name the interested parties, despite New York engaging in "several potential trade discussions," but he floated the Broncos as a possible partner.

"Here’s a nickel’s worth of free advice: Keep an eye on the Broncos, who are looking to upgrade their backup quarterback spot," he wrote.

Indeed, the Broncos are unsettled as to their QB depth chart. Below Case Keenum exists Chad Kelly and Paxton Lynch, though the team has not yet decided to cement Kelly as the No. 2, move on from Lynch, or add another veteran to the stable.

Speaking at his post-training camp press conference last week, general manager John Elway, upon confirming he's exploring the latter scenario, said he'll "wait and see what happens" after the second preseason game before drawing conclusions. He also outlined an ideal backup signal-caller.

We are not. We will not. We need a cb not a qb
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

If they're gonna do this then they really shouldn't have signed Keenum in the first place.

You are smarter than this, Denver needs to address a few positions on this team. Not just CB. Lol

This is just another speculation article, just as another that had all these theoretic destinations for Lynch but he has no market value at all.

    I don't see it.

I'd be surprised if Kelly isn't the backup now. The Broncos also reportedly only want to keep two quarterbacks. You can't try to get Kelly to the PS now, he'd never get there. And I don't think you can cut him, that would seem ridiculous.

Swag will be on the 53. Any other opinion isn’t a fact.

I’d rather have Kennum at this point. Teddy hasn’t played in two years and has never thrown for 300 yards.

    I don’t think that’s true.
