Thread: Broncos Fans Start Hilarious GoFundMe to Buy Out Paxton Lynch's Contract

Denver Broncos fans are fed up with their team drafting dud quarterbacks in the first round. The latest of which is ​Paxton Lynch, who was selected with the 26th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Lynch hasn't seen much NFL action in his first two seasons, but fans weren't impressed when he stepped on the field. In five career games (four starts), he's 1-3 with just 792 passing yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions.

But what's even more alarming is his play in the preseason. In his preseason debut, he finished 6-for-11 with just 24 yards and a pick. And that's just about all Broncos nation needed to see. ​They want him out.

One fan has taken it to another level by starting a GoFundMe page to raise $600,000 in an effort to buy out Lynch’s contract.

Fair point. But this type of stunt shouldn’t get attention.

you know a bronco has hit rock bottom when carol turns on him. . . lynch deserves it-- it's clear that he's not even trying. . . i think we got more out of willie middlebrooks than we will the metro pirate. . .

Defenses are starting to crowd the los because they know he’s afraid to push the ball.

I hope then when the joke has run its course, the money that given is donated to a worthy charity.
