No to O’Brien even if he were available. He only makes slightly better coaching decisions than VJ.

Given that the defense is now a problem, I wouldn't mind having Romeo Crennel as a coordinator. Whoever we hire better have a better option than Joe Woods, because Von Miller's talent is being completely wasted right now.

    Why?
It always worked out pretty well putting former Broncos in positions. Shanahan, Kubiak, Phillips...

I stayed out of this thread so maybe I missed something, but do people think O'Brien is good? He's one of the worst coaches in the league. 100% no to that guy. His reputation is that of a QB guru but he's never developed anyone.

Not only that, but he has a butt chin.

I'd love to have Kubiak back as HC for the rest of the season but he got out of that racket due to health reasons.
    Can't see him coming back.

Want to have a young coach. Up and comer new coach that understands the QBs AND linemen coming into the NFL. They understand this new concept of creating angles in space that the new QBs and OL play in college. Two clear examples are McVay and Matt Nagy. Look at their play calls.

The NFL more and more are running BIG 12 offenses. Not a coincidence that these BIG 12 QBs are all of a sudden havint success in the NFL. Which, they never really have. That was because the pro game did not run those offenses. Now they are.

We want a coach that coaches that. Someone mentioned Scotr Frost from Nebraska. He could be an intriguing choice.

Scott Frost: Still not going anywhere for awhile.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

If Kubiak came back for the rest of the season there would be no pressure on him. Maybe his health and stress levels would be ok under that scenario. He would be there to basically band aid a lost cause season. If he somehow turns it around then great but he would be a hell of alot better then the bum we have here now.

Although I don’t know if he’d want the job. He’s got a pretty good gig at UW. They pay him really well and they love him there.
