So I guess it's Boston and Carolina for the East. Hopefully the Avs beat the Sharks and the winner of the Blues/Stars because **** em.

I'm not a fan of the Blues at all. I don't mind Dallas, but can't stand Benn. If Colorado can manage to squeak out a win tomorrow night, I would feel confident going in to the WCF against either team.

The good news for you there is Benn has been irrelevant throughout the payoffs so far.

With Colorado's luck, they'd advance to the WCF and Benn would flip a switch.

All season long, the lack of 2nd line scoring has been our downfall. Then we traded for Zuccarello to help there and he played all of 2 games after the trade due to injury. But in the payoffs, Hintz, Dickinson and Zuccarello have been carrying us while Benn, Seguin and Radulov do almost nothing. If we could get both lines running, we'd be in great shape. But without that 2nd line...we'd have never got past Nashville.

Been the same problem with Colorado all season. MacKinnon, Rantanen, Landeskog, and Tyson Barrie have carried the team offensively with little to no help from secondary scoring. JT Compher has as many goals in 11 playoff games as he had all season. Soderberg had 20 goals in the regular season, but hasn't done shit all playoffs. Jost got sent down to the minors for a bit. Kamanev was never healthy. They traded for Broussard, but I never understood that. It's been frustrating, but it also just goes to show how damn good Colorado's first line is.

Our secondary scoring comes from defense. Without random goals from Klingberg, Heiskanen and Lindell...who knows where we'd be.

Assuming Bishop is healthy...which rarely happens. He's at 14 consecutive games without an injury (supposedly)...that might be a record for him

NHL.com says he's good to go. He took a beating in game six, so we'll see. I'll flip back and forth between that game and the Astros.

Plus side for me is that IF Colorado does advance, at least some of the games will start before 9pm. This shit is getting exhausting. Every other day I'm in zombie mode from staying up to midnight watching these games.

Sorry Coach. Brutal loss last night. Bishop stood on his damn head and got no offensive support.

BUT, maybe next season you can just look at Radulov and giggle.
