And the dead money, Hawg. Again, if that dead money is there, you can cross off one, or several of the acquisitions.

I hope Elway hasn't left the building so he could see Sloter's run and score.

I'm not sure VJ has actually been in the building tonight.

This year, not as bad. $4.5 in dead money, a little of which can be spread to next year. Last year, the number was 6.5 to 7 million cap hit and cutting him wasn't really an option from a cap perspective.

Normally I would agree with you Tned but Sloter was different and there were many Bronco vets that were saying the same thing. They felt like he earned the right to have been kept to see what was there. Plus they if they had offered the same wages to be on our PS as Minn he was would of stayed and then later gave major money to a RB to be on PS. Oh well....that's water under my bitter bridge.

So what all did that cap math get the Broncos, T? Talib? What am I missing.

Kelly is just getting back into form, though. Given the option of either, I'm taking Kelly.

At least he had good reasons to suck...and it was the 70s so it was harder to verify info. We knew Paxton knew like 8 plays!

    Nice excuse, Mr. Elway.

It will be interesting to see if they give Kelly a chance to be with the 2's on Tuesday..... I not sure he will be....Elway's have some weird blind spots.
