    Default kindle repair shop

    good morning,

I was wondering if anyone had the issue that I am experiencing with my kindle paperwhite. it indicates that it charges but it won't start up. no, it was not damaged and was working fine a few weeks ago. like I said the indicator lighs work and I have the picture of the suggested reading when I open it up, but it just wont activate. it's weird. any suggestions? I remember discussing kindles sometime on this website. other information:

bought it at a Barnes and Noble
called amazon and they hung up on me. tried also through chat and they referred me to calling amazon.. I may try again, but not so optimistic/kinda didn't blame them for hanging up on me. His name was Michael though and if you ever get him he is a dik imo

    thanks, Nut

If it's an older model you're probably just better off buying a new one, or just another of that old model. The time/cost/hassle of getting yours fixed probably isn't worth it.

It's toast and they're not worth fixing. It's cost prohibitive. But a new one, get the fire HD or something along those lines.

probably. I used to have Netflix on my phone. which reminds me, I need to find out what my 5-digit PIN for Amazon is. I never heard of such a thing and can't find it through my account.

Press and hold the power button until the power options come up and hit restart, if they don't come up hold the power button down until it reboots
