Handyman & stay at home mom is a fun role playing game but check the ESRB!

Have you heard of this one? I got it late last year but haven't been able to get into it as it's pretty ******* hefty:

Sounds interesting...I loved the Wizardry and M&M RPGs (pre-heroes). Maybe it's too buggy tho?

Pokemon Sword. Play it with your son. Then drink away the pain. What pain? The pain of watching your son whip that ass in a pokemon battle. Yeah. Get that work.

I can't get into Pokemon, there is a game called TemTem that looks similar that I've watched some streamers play and I think I could get into it.

Been playing phantasy star online, final fantasy ix and Kotor lately.

I need a new RPG for the switch. Not Zelda. Just not my bag.

I haven't played either, but people seem to love Fire Emblem and Xenoblade Chronicles... I've also heard good stuff about Octopath traveller.

Not an RPG, but Untitled Goose Game is a joy. You could always go hit up the classic Final Fantasy games that have released.

My kids love the goose game. They laugh and laugh.

I just started playing a game called UnReal World and so far I'm enjoying it. It's hard.

Basically you are living in the iron age and just trying to survive, maybe get ahead a little bit. Make it through winter.

Like Shazam said, and I've heard from so many friends, games are kind of samey and boring these days. This game shows it's not the graphics or the physics engine or what have you, but it's about taming a pack of wolves so you can sled around in winter and take many wives. Give it a look if you are down with old-school!

If you like this, you should give rimworld a look too (if you haven't already).

Good to hear--it's on my wishlist (for a long time now, doesn't go on sale often).

Was also looking into a tower defense game, either bloonz, creeping world, or gemcraft, but open to suggestions.

Bloonz is fun, and creative, but gets a bit worn. Haven't played the other two. I'm kinda a fan of the kingdom rush series. Has a bit of a cool/funny story with it and some clever mechanics.

As for Rimworld, I'm not sure it's ever been on sale. I think the dev made it a point that it wouldn't go on sale after it got released from early access.
