Are you sure? I remember you making quite a few posts about how he is not talented, because if he were he would not last til the 7th. I am not going to crown his ass after this pre-season game but he sure looks waaaaay better than anything we have had in a long time. Lets hope he keeps it rolling and eventually turns into a QB, possibly, hopefully, slowly, not yet, of, the, maybe, lots of work, future...? Yes.

Yup I agree, I just hope it's real and not yet another below average guy who had a decent run in the pre season before proving that it was the lack of competition as to why he was looking alright. I really pray Kelly is that once in a blue moon DIAMOND found in the back of the draft.

i'd still trade kelly for sloter straight up, right now, but that doesn't mean anything. . . my point was that NFL evaluators couldn't have thought too much of kelly, and i wasn't wrong. . . willis mcgahee went in the first round with a triple lindy on the knee. . . gareon conley was a 1st rounder w/ a rape charge pending. . . the cowboys spent a high second on jaylen smith, knowing he'd need a redshirt season. . . etc, etc. . . . if team scouts thought kelly was a 1st round QB, he would have gone 3rd-4th, regardless. . . that doesn't mean we didn't get a steal. . . we'll wait and see, but i'll root for him until we do. . . fair 'nuf?

Soon enough. I have some work shit to try and bring to a close this weekend, need to change the oil and rotate tires on my cars and a few other small tidbits. It’s coming tho. As much as I can’t wait to blow everyone out of the water, real life does have its priorities. I have a lot on my plates.

Kelly is a beast, I love what I saw. He is going to be the guy groomed for the future. He has a NFL skillset glad VJ stopped being a lame duck and made the right call. Now if he can just Do the same with huerman and booker......

I don't actually think that's a fair statement. The difference between Sloter and Kelly is Kelly was projected much higher prior to getting injured. He's a QB that actually has the talent to have been a mid-round QB, but got drafted late due to other circumstances.
