I like Utah, the adventuresome part. If you don't mind a long drive, check something out. My personal favorite was renting a RZR for the day in Marysvale. So many trails.

Hill AFB was my wife's first base. We were there for 4 yrs. I loved it there. Both my sons were born in Layton. My wife's aunt & cousins live in Park City, and her sister lives in Sandy. I'd move back there......northern Utah, and only visit southern Utah.

Hey Nut. When you drive along I-15 in SLC, and see those tall light poles along the interstate, I helped install those as a first year electrical apprentice with Wasatch Electric (IBEW Local 354). It was around the time SLC was prepping for the Winter Olympics.

Yeah I bet you've installed miles of pole over your lifetime. Just kidding. I'm sure it's impressive work

Kennecot Utah Copper mine is pretty cool. Especially if they're blasting with dynamite. I don't know if it still is, but it was the world's largest open pit copper mine. Worth a visit.

Temple square is also worth a visit.

Drive up to Park City. Really cool mining town turned ski town ala Aspen. Winter Olympic site.

SLC is really a beautiful city. Enjoy the trip.

Do you still have to join a club to get a beer?
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.
