I believe Utah got rid of having to be a member to go to a bar or club. You had to be a member when we lived there from 96-00.

You can get strong beer from a state ran liquor store.

Drive up to Park City. Really cool mining town turned ski town ala Aspen. Winter Olympic site.

SLC is really a beautiful city. Enjoy the trip.
I believe I flew over said copper mine. Impressive from the air

Yes. .. of course the great Salt Lake is a good spot. Not as salty as the Dead Sea, but salty enough to experience pretty good buoyancy.

Its been over 30 years since I lived in Wyoming, but when I did, "The Lagoon" was the #1 reason we'd go to SLC. It was a nice size amusement park, far larger then the joke that is "Castles & Coasters" here in Phoenix, that might be comparable in size to "Elitch Gardens" in Denver. Its been over 3 decades since I've gone to either, so I could be wrong. Nevertheless, unlike Disney Land, you don't have to get a 2nd mortgage to take your family & you spend more time riding rides than standing in line.

I don't like that body of water. It reeks of death to me. I think it should be filled in and never discussed

Nogad, I did enjoy your handiwork on I 15 earlier today. You know how to keep a pole up that's for damn sure. Did you erect those in the median for that short stretch just off the 50s exit?
