I would disagree as would the Giants and Colts. If Barkley turns out to be a Hall of Fame RB or anything close, then the Giants offense will be totally different next season.

They had a great draft. They picked up a generational RB at #2 and still got their developmental QB in Kyle Lauletta in the 4th. They can develop him for 2 seasons behind Eli.

And the Colts desperately needed to massively upgrade their OL to give Luck a chance to survive another season. So that was a great pick at a position of need and they obtained extra draft picks and still got a great player.

But Chubb is probably the best value among them since he plays the most important position. He could well be close to another Von Miller. He has everything you value in a defensive pass rusher. Speed, athleticism, determination, constant effort and great character and willingness to learn. He's a leader on and off the field.

There's a reason why every NFL scout and GM had this guy as the best defensive player in the draft and a better pro prospect than Myles Garrett, last year's #1 overall pick. And the Broncos inexplicably got him at #5. Normally, that just doesn't happen, but this year it did thanks to the Browns!

No doubt! Wade has already done great things with that Rams defense and this year expect them to terrorize opposing offenses. He's the best DC in football and you know he'll be saving something special for the Broncos this year.

I love both of those guys. And as I said their generational talents. That said if you look a value in the top 10 if you have three generational talents defensive end should always be picked before running back or guard. Case in point just look at the best rookie Running Backs from last year's draft. Both of them taken in the third round. Also when you factor in the ridiculous depth at running back this year there was no way that I could justify taking either of those guys over chub. If you was off the board I would have been happy had either of them been available and we had pick them up.

Nelson might have been the correct pick, but Chubb plays a premium position.

There was only one way to **** that pick up, trading too far back.

There's something about his personality that rubs NFL GMs the wrong way because they let him fall to #10 despite his being supposedly the most "NFL ready" QB in the draft. Just judging by game film all the NFL experts thought he would be a top 3 pick and he wasn't.

The difference between his attitude and that of Lamar Jackson was striking. Jackson had that edge to him, but he's like let's get to work you know. Rosen came off as what everybody portrayed and be which was a petulant entitled little whiny boy

Yeah, he’s no Case Keenum, but who is ... really?

Well, you have a QB who was no worse than in the top six in any of the three most important
categories vs. a guy who has never thrown a pass in the NFL. So there really isn't any way to
    make a comparison at this juncture . . .

Yep, a guy so good Minny threw the bank at a slightly above average QB to replace him.

#1 DVOA, #2 QBR, #6 DYAR overall. That's in the entire NFL.
#1 QBR in the league while under pressure. 98.3 passer rating.
Let his team to a 12-4 record and the NFC Championship game.

Now, I don't know what Minnesota had in mind. But facts are facts. Argue with them.
I haven't made any wild proclamations. All I have done is to present facts.

I don't know why some people on this board have such a problem with the facts.

Facts can both be true and not tell the whole story.
