I would have no issues with Barkley at all.
Would not hurt my feelings to have 2 explosive backs in Barkley and Henderson. The sprinkle in the decent running and good pass catching of Booker.
If Barkley is still there at our pick, he's my personal choice, but I've kind of changed my order in who I want after him. I think if it's not Barkley, I'd take Ward at #5 put him in the nickle with Harris/Roby playing outside.
If we take a QB, I think the prospects here are more than viable, so I'd be happy.
If we take Nelson, while I think that's a reach for a guard, he might be the exception to the rule, and it's still a really good pick. If we take Ward, that's the top corner. Barkley could be a generational player, Chubb might be the best player in the draft, etc. If we trade back, as long as the haul is good enough, I'd be okay with that as well.
We would have to do something insanely awful for me to be unhappy.
Thinking back on Elway when he did finally get his weapons to win a super bowl it is crazy thinking on how lucky we got in finding those weapons.
Journeyman turned star Ed McCaffrey.
Undrafted Rod Smith
7th round pick Shannon Sharpe.
6th round draft pick Terrell Davis.
