Outside of Guice there are no RB's im at all interested in. Too bad we couldnt get one of the better ones tonight.
Kirk is a baller.
CHUBB and BUTT on the SAME TEAM!!!
How do you lose your hand in poker though if the cost to move up was too high? Im sure he did have his eyes on those guys, but if they want both 3rds for example, then they can eat dicks, ya know.
Some times you hold them, sometimes you fold them, sometimes you let the cards come to you. It sucks we wanted those other guys and they went earlier but we do not know what they wanted.
Say we had pick 34 and the patriots wanted to trade up, we make the trade, they select hernandez and we get two thirds. Our next pick wouldnt be for a full round later and we would look pretty stupid for trading back. Not sure why any team would do that unless they got a ransom, which I am glad John did not pay.
The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
F LA. I love Nwosu
I thought he should have moved into the back of the first for Hernandez just because of the way the start of the second lined up. The expected run on OL happened. But Elway's standing firm on keeping his early picks where they are. Could have picked up more picks, instead took his #1 defensive player on the board. Could have moved up to fill a need, instead stayed where he was and took his favorite receiver. DT will be gone after this year even at best, just based on his contract. So Elway took his replacement.
I can't say I take the OL more seriously than Elway, since John has devoted a lot of picks to it. He's just terrible at it. He said he explored moving up but couldn't get it done, and whether that was for Sutton or the OL I dunno. But Elway's not panicking - hopefully that's good.

My novels Mason's Order and its sequel Mason's Pledge are now available at Amazon in both paperback and kindle versions.
If Sanders had to play in the slot it's not like it would be every down.
Mismatches.
Sometimes he is outside and we have TEs, sometimes he is outside and maybe Henderson is in the slot, sometimes he's in the slot.
At the end of the day Sanders will care more that he is getting the ball.
I don't need the NFL Draft to be the WWE. Just read the damn pick and get off the stage.
I love how all the announcers are trolling the Cowboys. Lol
