Default Longtime Broncos announcer who coined ‘IN-COM-PLETE’ dies at 77

The longtime Denver Broncos announcer who coined the legendary “IN-COM-PLETE” chant died Wednesday.

Alan Cass was 77 years old.

He called games for the Broncos for 20 years. His final season was in 2007, but he continued to announce University of Colorado football and basketball games until his retirement in 2011.

In an interview with DenverBroncos.com, former Broncos’ Vice President of Public Relations Jim Saccomano had only high praise for his colleague.

“I thought he was the best public-address announcer in Colorado history,” he said.
