There's a bird's nest over the front door (not happy about it and the crap all over the place) and the mom was getting pretty upset at me when I was getting some UPS boxes in.

This is a highly cropped/zoomed picture of a bird I just took in a tree.

They were back again this morning and this evening. This evening he decided to take a full blown nap in my backyard while mama grazed.

The mama and baby are spending about 2 to 2.5 hours most mornings and evenings in my little feed plot, which I've done a crap job of keeping up with the last two years, so clover isn't as thick is normal and it's overgrown. I tried to get it back in shape this spring, but it's not there yet.

I'm guessing the baby can't travel very far each day yet and it's a good source of food, so where normally it's 10-30 minutes and move on for deer, these two are camping out for extended times with the little one layind down or napping at times.

We had a deer running through our neighborhood yesterday.

Deer are all around my backyard back home, and they're around the law school campus. Like...whole damn families just walking around the back entrance, which is fairly woodsy.

    Truly breathtaking creatures.

After I went to import this from the SD card, I notice the deer with their flags up and one ran about 50' and stopped and the other ran into the woods and stopped, then I see them take off again, as a coyote came through the food plot/back yard. SD card was in the computer, instead of camera.

I've heard them plenty at night, but never see one come through the yard/food plot before.

Here's a buck that was in the plot this morning.

The LRAFB guys are busy today.

Second fly by, and this time with two. Still an hour earlier than normal, so wonder if I'll get a third pass with three.

Also a little lower than normal.
