Actually, I think Rick has some pretty good suggestions there. And I appreciate his trying to mediate things a bit.

Well ya'll are encroaching on me and I don't like it... Why must we always go through this same nonsense wherein everyone needs the message board experience molded around their delicate sensibilities?

Jesus dude, I am just trying throw throw things out to see if there is anyway to keep the damn board going and see how we could keep Tned around and keep Tned WANTING to be around.

This thread shows that Tned obviously is not happy here, how do we change that. Do you want business as usual? It's fixing to close down!

No worries dude, no more suggestions from me. Since I really have no idea about the longevity of this place I am not going to keep putting my emotions into it, time for me to start scouting other boards. Probably just go back to the "official".

This only is valid though Tned if you actually WANT it to continue and I still have no idea if you would keep it running because you WANT to or feel OBLIGATED to.

All I've ever wanted to do was post. I was personally happy on Mania, and could be again. I could be happy on the Mane, and have posted there regularly at times.

I only started this site because others wanted a new home. I then almost immediately stepped back from active control, first by creating a board to propose rules to the posters and get feedback, and then getting a mod team and requiring votes on bans, and very shortly after rarely participating in those discussions and no vote in bans.

So, in short, I want to ******* post without all the damn drama.

I typed more, but deleted. I just want to post, but I post with this name everywhere, and I'm not going to create a dupe account to post anonymously.

If a few posters could take responsibility for their own actions this could still be a great place. 95% or more of this board does so. But just a handful want to point fingers in other directions when it is their own behavior causing problems.

That group of a few includes the Admin of the site. Which makes it absolutely impossible to enforce the rules when the Admin comes in and sets threads on fire just because he can.

To Tned and BroncoWave specifically. You two are EXACTLY THE SAME GUY. Different political viewpoints, but otherwise the same. And that's why you hate each other so much.

But take a look in the mirror. It's a mirror image. You don't like what he's doing? Guess what? He's you.

Just don't forget that you came in from a Freaks site that had gone to hell and found a pretty
good one that welcomed you with open arms. It had already been set up for you to just sign
up and enjoy. So you have some hard feelings for some reason. I really don't know why. But
that should not get in the way of a little bit of humility and gratitude.
