Right, and I'm simply saying "he's not that guy," and "he's not that good." Again, just because those options aren't there doesn't mean CK can't be criticized, or I can't be unenthused with him.

And FFS, of course people are. In this thread alone people went "but he IS good," and then ran out how he can be good in a perfect situation or how we've won with bad QB play. That's sort of the point I'm making - ignoring his obvious flaws and talking about how good he is/can be when referring to everything but HIM as a player is slobbing his knob.

When you have to point to everything else but his play, it's not a good sign. We're smart fans - we know his completion percentage was bloated. We know the stats show he sucks at deep ball passing. We know he's a one year wonder. He know he was in a great situation in 'Sota. We know he relied heavily on the run game. We know his own coach doubted him greatly. We know his overall production was underwhelming. We know that QBR and the like favor 'efficient' guys like him and Alex Smith over guys who are asked to do heavy lifting and can't get away with baby passing stats. We all know this.

Or, we should. And THOSE critiques are actually about him, not bullshit like 'well he's good enough to maybe win here.' Great. That doesn't make him good, nor does it mean he can consistently bail us out when the defense falters. THAT'S the point. And it's been consistently missed by his apologists, and that's what's so frustrating.

It's a generalization that I've seen you make you saucy, sassy, insolent, albeit glorious ****.

I'd hate you, but you repped Tunisia with me. God dammit, you did it.

It's not valid, and I brought up the slowdown at the end of the year because he fell off completely in the playoffs. Why is that relevant? Because when a single season is a guy's career, you don't want to see a drop off at the end of the year.

We are literally repeating arguments from TS, btw.

And yes, people here are puffing the guy up as a big time QB.
No, just puffing him up as better than TS and the poise of an actual nfl qb.He's No Brady or Manning, but He's better than what we've had in a couple of seasons and right now, He's the only prospect we have of having any success on the offense.

Until he proves on the field to be a failure, you aren't bringing me down. I can't start a season that kind of pessimistic.

He's being slurped. You're entitled to your position. But the man's being slurped.

Exactly. I will reserve judgment until he has at least thrown a couple passes in a Bronco uniform.

King......change your avi to Keenum, and adopt him as your Bronco. Say positive things, think positive, and believe in Keenum.

That's all for this session. That's my advice for the day.

You made me do that once for TS.

Every now & then, I get one wrong. I'm not saying Keenum will be Carson Wentz, but he should be a lot better than TS, Oz, & Lynch. There is also Kelly.

The point is, as GEM & slim pointed out, we can't start the season on a negative/pessimistic note. Good things will happen for the Broncos this year.

    A-fricken-men!

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. Until he proves King right, King just needs to learn to be happy and embrace the Case

You are just jealous because you aren't in on the action.

I am working on a more 'glass half full King'. It's there. We just need to find it. King's a good person. TS has really scarred him. Damn you, Vance Joseph.
