His first year he was the second least productive QB in the league and did nothing well. The next year he lost his job, threw more picks than TDs, and was broken down mentally. I mean yeah, you watched Russell play for Oakland, and you probably saw Akili Smith play once or twice, but TS is right there with those guys.
For all the areas I'm "wait and see on" His personality has me sold. He's got a great attitude, he's shown himself to be a vocal leader teammates will follow, he's one of us (a life-long Broncos fan).
As a person, I'm 100 percent sold on him. As a player, his play on the field last year is 1000 times better than the trash we put on the field last season. IF he can get close to that performance again this year, I really like our chances. With our defense, if he plays at a level he did last year, we can make the playoffs and once we are there, the AFC isn't as tough as it used to be, our odds are as good as anyone else's once we get there.
The "Can he do it again" is the only question mark I'm concerned with.
Well, that and "is our running game going to be worth anything this year"
I'm actually fairly confident in our o-line oddly enough (I know I shouldn't be lol)
