Hmmm, dont know about Tua being a first rounder. I get a little hesitant about QB's coming from Bama. When we speak of machines you could probably plug in any guy there and he would succeed. Not sure how much he would be able to do on his own so for me i would shy away from him.
Combines are fine but not a 100% indicator that a player would be a home run. Obviously the flipside to that is guys like Lynch who excelled at smaller programs but im sure if we can find a happy medium in between both that might be the way to go. I guess Tua just doesnt wow me as much as other people.
Im not saying he cant play but how much of it is him vs Saban and the talent around him? I mean, they are the very definition of a machine in terms of dominance as a football program. Its ok if you think that highly of him im just a bit wary of being snake bitten. Tebow was a great college QB as well, like i said im just wary of it thats all.
