This analysis is WAY too complicated. It's much simpler than that. In Minnesota, he had a VERY talented team around him. They won 12 games, and you can bet that it wasn't Keenum dragging a bunch of nobodies to 12-4.
He didn't prevent their winning, he did his job. That is who he is.
A journeyman QB who can win 12 games - if you put a really good offense around him, and have a really good defense so he's not playing from behind and trying to make low percentage plays happen.
It's those 3rd and long situations, or those games where you're behind by 14 points and need to put together a couple of long TD drives to get back in the game. That's when you need elite QB play and he's just not capable of that.
Well in MN last year they were so good he was rarely in anything like that kind of situation. And when he was, he was surrounded by playmakers and had a solid OL to protect him. Especially, he had a TE like Kyle Rudolph. The Broncos have Jeff Heurmann. That is just not the same.
Just give me Sam Bradford at this point.
Sam Bradford is talented, you can forget it.

I fancy a run on Bridgewater.
You only pick up Bradford if you feel you have a shot at making the playoffs or SB. Bradford isnt that kind of guy and has almost no mobility to which he would need with our Oline issues. Denver needs to quit worrying about Broken down and subpar QB's and go after a blue chipper come next years draft. Its time to rebuild properly.
I fail to see the risk in signing a cheap veteran. He’s a better quarterback than Grayson. I’m literally talking about getting him for the rest of the season. I’m not talking about investing in the guy.
I realize that but for what purpose? What does Denver really gain there? We know what Bradford brings to the table but dont know what Grayson brings to the table if anything. Bradford only makes sense if you are trying to make the postseason which i dont think is going to happen with or without Bradford. I just dont understand why we would waste our time at this point of the season.
