Tebow was drafted to replace Orton. Cutler was drafted to replace Plummer. I don't remember Oz replacing Manning because of bad play. I remember it being injury. And Manning came back.

That's sorta hard to quantify to me. Manning was playing like utter shit, and the injury was the explanation. So, he probably should have been benched even if he wasn't injured. Tomato Tomato.

Yeah. But we tend to start QBs even if they are playing poorly.

    That's true. It's our style.

Do you remember that game when he had four interceptions and 3 completions? He was the worst quarterback in the NFL for about a 3 game stretch.

It was really bad. I almost believe the "injury" was more of a protection than a real thing, but I'm cynical. Either way, it worked out.

It was the most unbearable QB experience I’ve seen. He couldn’t even throw the ball 20 yards

You could tell he wasnt right but he was trying to fight through it although it was killing the team. Brock wasnt the final answer but he was the hero we needed until the final regular season game when the Sheriff had to come back on in his leadership role. Who knows how the team would have done had they not lost focus in the SD game but as Nynja said it worked out well in the end.

If you add in the word "accurately," and 'consistently' I've experienced this several teams recently.

Yeah. Probably the worst Super Bowl winning QB since Elway in SB 32.

Manning was still on the bench when he was healthy.
