    Well after my mishap with the gas, it appears that BP Amoco Ultimate is the best premium gas available at a consistent price point.

    This observation comes against other locally priced BP/Amoco vs Exxon, Mobil, Shell, Citgo and Sunoco alleged premium fuel brands in the NY area.

    Brands I would avoid: 76, Valero, Getty, Gaseteria

    When I got my truck in 2016, the dealer recommended Chevron Premium. I did for the first year in a half until it's almost $4 a gallon here. The regular unleaded is $3.50.

    My truck will only run 91+. Would never buy again a car that requires premium gas.

    Paid $3.41 today for BP Ultimate. Seems to cost a little less. Citgo wants $3.69 and Shell is $3.89 today
