Personally, I would feel like a douche driving most American cars.

American manufacturers make large cars and trucks better than their competition or equal to. They have come a long, long way in terms of manufacture and even the paint. Just look at Cadillac which made junk in the late 70s and 80s when the downsizing began. They were not ready to deal with the small foreign competion after the oil crisis. They still never recovered from that.

There are a PLENTY of issues with models from BMW, Audi, VW and even Benz when they are aging. All very expensive to fix.

Look at Land Rover. Just having an expensive import marque doesnt mean everything.

I don’t know king. There are places all over the world that need full size vehicles with off road capabilities. We’re just the best at making them. Nissan sucks at it, but Toyota isn’t too far behind.

Without 4x4 or AWD here you got a problem in winter.

I wish my country was associated with learning, intellectualism, technology, and a better way of life.

Trucks are a status symbol of the opposite of most of those things.

Case in point - you typically see confederate flags flying from trucks.

idk maybe i just baby my cars. Ive never had any major failures in Ford or Lincoln and im going back 20 years.

I mean a control arm here and there, 02 sensor for inspections... never not started up or left me stranded. Am undefeated in blizzard conditions driving in 2' + in 4x4s and AWD also.

I also do reg maintenance and my own things i believe that prevent issues.
