They have these little post attachments to make access easier to the terminals in the event of giving ir getting a jump... Some of those side terminals is an awful pain to get to, with crossbars and even the battery casement.
Hopefully at battery change its a one time thing that you will never have to do anymore.
However side terminals stay cleaner

Chrysler makes good large vehicles. Anything after the K cars, which were incredibly reliable and easy to fix, all their small vehicles are trash with the B body.
I do like the new Pacifica.

After the debacle that was my Dodge Nitro, the only Dodge I'd look at now is the AWD Challenger and that's just my midlife crisis want.
I've had a Honda Accord (******* car caught on fire), Oldsmobile, Dodge Nitro (biggest pos in the ******* world, thank the good Lord that drunk driver totaled it), Mazda MPV, and currently a Mazda CX-9. I ******* love my CX9. For an SUV, it boogies.
Swinging back to this point, my wife had a Durango with the 4.7, 7 years ago. That motor is ideal for a midsized truck/suv. The pilot she has now has a v6 that flat out moves. It produces more horsepower than the dodge 4.7. It feels wrong that my wife’s car has more horsepower than my truck.
A change is in order.
