Also, putting in new battery cables hungover is annoying.
    You mean the terminal connectors?

Indeed. Wouldn't have been so bad but the old ones were a whore to get off. Damn things were basically siezed on the battery. Long hungover story short, truck that wouldnt turn over now starts.

They have these little post attachments to make access easier to the terminals in the event of giving ir getting a jump... Some of those side terminals is an awful pain to get to, with crossbars and even the battery casement.

Hopefully at battery change its a one time thing that you will never have to do anymore.

    However side terminals stay cleaner

Chrysler makes good large vehicles. Anything after the K cars, which were incredibly reliable and easy to fix, all their small vehicles are trash with the B body.

I do like the new Pacifica.

After the debacle that was my Dodge Nitro, the only Dodge I'd look at now is the AWD Challenger and that's just my midlife crisis want.

I've had a Honda Accord (******* car caught on fire), Oldsmobile, Dodge Nitro (biggest pos in the ******* world, thank the good Lord that drunk driver totaled it), Mazda MPV, and currently a Mazda CX-9. I ******* love my CX9. For an SUV, it boogies.

Many moons ago my Dad had off-road tires on it and it was getting closer to 12mpg, changing the tires to a more highway friendly tread certainly made a big difference.

Like Timmy's experience, if my wife drives the truck it drops to 12 mpg really quickly. It's really all about aggressive acceleration, she doesn't speed much but she gets up to the speed limit, or 5 over, quickly. That is all it takes to drop the MPG a LOT.
Swinging back to this point, my wife had a Durango with the 4.7, 7 years ago. That motor is ideal for a midsized truck/suv. The pilot she has now has a v6 that flat out moves. It produces more horsepower than the dodge 4.7. It feels wrong that my wife’s car has more horsepower than my truck.

    A change is in order.

We bought a used Pilot last year. That 3.5 liter engine is no joke. I really like that vehicle. Sturdy and comfortable and smooth as hell running 80mph down the highway.

Ridden a few. Got to make sure you get away before they get too attached though.
