Well, he was #1 under pressure last year. If we sign Nate Solder or draft Quinton Nelson and pair it with the NFLs best under pressure then we might all like what we see. Keenum is not a great QB but he does very well under pressure. Had only 7 ints last year?
I am warming up to having him here. He is just slightly worse then Cousins...for much much less!

Since Keenum is just on a two year team friendly deal it doesn't seem like he is being seen as the face of franchise for the next decade.

Combine that with seeing Bradford get 20 million...and even a true bridge like McCown getting 10 mil to stay where he wanted to be...and the deal looks even better. I dont mind letting a rookie start if he proves he can, but we still needed a bridge vet and Keenum was the best overall value of skill and price.
