yea, i think jimmy's going back to nawlins. . . fine with me, let them pay him-- he's worth more there than he is anywhere else. . . i'd rather save our cap space. . . jimmy has been banged up a lot lately-- he still plays at a high level, but i think it's fair to wonder how many really strong years he has left. . . i'd be all about it if we still had an aging PFM, but graham's a luxury we don't really need at the moment. . . we're cutting older vets to free up cap space as it is, no point bringing in more of them. . . get a younger second-tier guy like burton or ASJ, and draft another one in the middle rounds in case J-booty doesn't pan out. . . but i'd like to see what he can contribute before spending big bucks at that position. . . save our free agent dollars for spots like OT and corner. . . and if we don't sign cousins, i'm all for saving as much cap space as we can to roll over to 2019, when we hopefully come back with a better coach, and re-stocked roster. . . draft a rookie QB, let him take his lumps under VJ, and have a chunk of cap space to put more pieces around your new QB in '19. . . for this year, i think we can get by with a competent vet at TE-- just give me a guy who can catch the ball on third down and function as a chain mover. . .
