I just think we deserve the highest end analysis on this board. How can high end analysis occur with such incorrect misrepresentations?

However you want to paint it. The guy put up better numbers than any of the top quarterbacks in this draft save Mayfield. During the 2015 season. And he beat Bama, A&M, Lsu, and Auburn. Seriously everybody's nitpicking the kid but if he not had a knee and wrist injury and if he hadn't acted a little bit psycho in his past there's no doubt he would have gotten drafted higher than the seventh round. He's extremely athletic. He's a film room Junkie. And he has a huge arm.

I don't understand the conflict here. I really don't. It's not me painting it - it's an analysts that is respected saying the guy had talent, but might have been a first or second round (or worse) pick. You would have been better served aiming that comment for the thread starter. Sigh. The same analyst said to look at FA and take a QB pick at five. So the notion that this was some ringing endorsement, which was clearly the implication, is poorly aimed.

I could just as easily say that if he was so good, he wouldn't have been drafted in the seventh round - even Ryan Mallet was taken before the seventh.

As far as teams beating teams, remember when they made that argument for Vince Young? Or when they said PFM was a college loser? Who cares? Andy Dalton did well in bowl games.

Don't run onto a football field in the middle of a game and try to fight high school kids and you'll get drafted higher...
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

I wasn't necessarily directing it at you. I know you're making a point. My point is that everyone has wanted to Discount him as being mr. Irrelevant and I don't think that any of the concerns about Kelly we're about his football Acumen, his work ethic, or his playing ability. They're all about consistent character concerns. What I know is I read all the Articles from the Ole Miss coaching staff talking about what a good teammate he was, that they never had any issues with him. That he was a complete filmjunkee. So I'm just saying the reason the guy was mr. Irrelevant was he had two major injuries going into the draft and he made the dumb decision to run onto the field when his brother was getting jumped.

And I think it's easy for everyone to make comments about running onto the field but I can tell you right now if my little brother was getting jumped and kicked and had his helmet ripped off I probably would have done the same thing that he did. So it's hard for me to judge that decision too harshly.
