See, that's where I disagree. Stink told VJ to say something real to the press. That's what he did last year. I don't care about his press candor. Making it into an issue?

VJ deals in broad platitudes. It’s dumb. Winning would cure it.

It's super dumb. I guess I get it.

Not to say VJ doesn't suck, I hated the hire, but to say Studes won? When?

He won because he was the coordinator? Well I guess in that regard VJ has won games as well.

If you are talking about HC record...Studes is 1-3 as a HC, how is that winning?

the only thing VJ has ever won... "The Dolphins defense finished 29th in the NFL, 30th against the run and 15th against the pass. Miami gave up more yards in 2016 than any season in franchise history. "

in fact. VJ "radio" has alot of these "worst loss, worst stat" in franchise history on a few teams now.

Look. I am NOT a Vance Joseph fan. I thought it was clear they made a serious mistake not to hire Kyle Shanahan in the first place. But, this particular example doesn't seem like a big idea.

VJ gives the media some "coach speak" when asked what they need to do differently. "Unacceptable answer." Well, VJ doesn't answer to the media.

The comment about "maybe" moving Leary back to LG when every single informed person on earth knows they have to do that is a more serious issue in my view.

I am with you on VJ is a terrible coach.

You completely ignored my main question however. What has Studes ever won since you brought him up in comparison. Studes was a great guy but an average position coach and was 1-3 as a HC. What has he won??

Schlereth is a treasure. Are his takes a little bit contrived? He's good at media, so he dials it up a notch to gain audience, but they are always coming from a place of honesty, I feel.

This was probably a tad bit harsh - but he also wasn't judging this in a vacuum. This has long been one of my criticism's of VJ as well - he never says anything when he talks... And whereas when Belichick does that, it feels like a communications strategy - and when our coach does it, it feels like it's because he doesn't have anything substantive to offer.

*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.
