I noticed they brought in DJ Chark. He was a returner at LSU.

He will be missed this season. Geaux Tigers!

I'd give him a definite look, though Bronco fans might be a little gun shy of LSU returners.

Chark gonna be a better Pro than collegian, IMO.

He used to be a 4th round sleeper, not so much anymore.

Let's not forget the obvious connection here.
Mickey Joseph is Vance Joseph's younger brother.
Last year he coached at Louisiana Tech. We drafted a receiver there in the third round.
This year he coached at LSU.
Chark played at LSU and is expected to go in the second or third round.
The Broncos brought him in for a visit.
    Nuff said.

I watched some videos of him. Highlights omit the bad plays, naturally. He may not run the entire route tree well but I thought he moved fluidly for how tall he is. I also thought he catches the ball with greater ease than I was expecting. He could be unvervalued because LSU's QBs are always awful.

Draft Breakdown has full game videos of every play that a player takes part in, if Chark is on the field they show that play. Although, it’s not All-22 so it’s not a lot of help with downfield action.

Outstanding insight, this is why you make the big bucks.

if we take a receiver high, chark would be my first choice. . . former CU and NFL receiver mike pritchard was talking about him the other day on 104.3. . . he said that of all the top WR prospects, chark probably had the least opportunity to show his full range of abilities at LSU, but that if you watch the tape, you can see every skill he'll need to play in the NFL. . . said chark may take a couple years to develop, but that he could wind up being the best receiver out of this class a few years down the road. . .

This might be where a cynical bastage like me would point out that Danny Etling is exactly the kind of QB that fits a certain FO talent evaluators template like a glove. So Chark wouldn’t exactly be projected to be any better off with an even less talented version of Etling.

If the Broncos had a 7th round pick I bet Etling would be in play.

    Poor Chark.

Jaded, I'm out for awhile. Be mean to Hawgdriver. He disrespected me on a personal level. Also, if I don't make it back...honor me with McRibs and scotch. Not at the same time...that'd be awful.

Also, I'm sorry for trolling you during the Kubiak wars you and I had. He's a better HC than I give him credit for. Take care of GEM, mind my Dodgers thread, and tell Dreadnought I miss him. Pray for me.
