jackson may well not turn out to be mike vick. . . i don't think it's at all unfair to characterize him as a vick starter kit, though. . . i think his skill set is similar enough. . .

Id take him in the second. Id rather Rosen in the first. However, Miami is going to take Lamar in the first most likely, depending upon what they do with Tanney
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

I don’t think he throws better than Vick, in fact I would say the opposite is true.

he and josh allen are by far the biggest risk/reward prospects. . . no way in hell i'd draft either one of them in the 1st with their accuracy concerns, but a team certainly could hit big on one of them IF they can develop the guy into an NFL-level QB. . . i honestly think drafting QBs is a bigger crapshoot than ever, because fewer and fewer of them are doing NFL things on the college field. . . it still doesn't excuse the top teams passing on deshaun watson last year. . . but for every couple of 1st round busts, there are russell wilsons and dak prescotts popping up. . . it's maybe more random than ever. . . the one thing we are seeing, though, is that teams ARE finding guys who can succeed to at least some level more easily than before. . . the rules changes plus the proliferation of college-style schemes at the pro level has made it possible for more (and more limited) QBs to play at a reasonably high level than in years past. . .

which means to me that there's really no excuse for the donkeys if they can't find one. . . they need to keep trying-- there are dudes out there. . . nick freakin' foles just won the super bowl. . .

It's time NFL offenses accept reality and go with the innovation of college. I'd take Wentz and his funky college leanings over the failed traditions.

This isn't to strawman you Dog, I just say this because my funky post follows yours and it could be construed incorrectly.

all good. . . and more to the point, they are! dashing doug pederson just went nick foles and RPO upside bradychick's domepiece. . . wentz and watson are poised to run roughshod over the league-- but i like both of them because their games contain that college element, but aren't limited to it. . . i think they're both QBs who have the raw tools to grow into more polished pro-style passers as their legs (and desire/ability to sustain hits) diminish. . . we gots to get us one of them. . .

    No Kinger! Just! No!

There’s nothing innovative about a college offense.

Jaded, I'm not saying we run the Tebow offense. But I am saying that if the RPO, when done right, can **** up Belichick because you have a real QB who can pass and makes the decisions based off of his passing ability and not just running...that you have an offense that stresses the defense.

FFS, Foles isn't an uber athlete and he still kept them honest with it.
