Default Would You Trade #5 Overall Pick To Bills For #21 and #22?

Peter King of Monday Morning QB thinks the Bills are ready to trade up to draft a QBOTF and if the Broncos spend in free agency for a QB, they would be candidates for a trade down.

Does a pair of #1s do anything for you? Who might you target if we made such a deal? Best OT on the board? A fleet WR to replace Sanders/Thomas? Beef to anchor the D-line?

    Only if we get Cousins.

If we get Keenum, Bradford, Foles, Taylor then we need to take a QB at 5.

If they want to move up to 5 its for a QB. The premium goes up.

I want both 1sts, a 2nd this year and a first next year or 2nd and 3rd next year...or a starting player. Like a RT or an ILB.

Just because the math checks does not mean squat when it is for a QB. You want a franchise guy you pay a franchise worth of picks.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

it's a tough call. . . i probably would, IF we get cousins. . . if we don't get cousins, i agree that a QB has to be our top priority. . . i would consider moving back a bit to take mayfield, but 21 is too far. . . if we do get cousins, taking nelson at five would be my top choice. . . but if you could potentially move back and get will hernandez and mcglinchey, orlando brown or connor williams, you would really have to consider it. . . it would also free you up to take a player like sony michele at the top of the second, and that would be aces. . .

Sure. If they include Tyrod Taylor as well.

Tyrod + 21, 22. I would take that in a heartbeat. Could go with two OL there and wait to get a QB in the 2nd, or 1 OL and 1 QB. Mason Rudolph, Luke Falk, take your pick.

if we're taking rudolph or falk, what exactly do we want taylor for? so we can win 7-8 games with a no-upside QB, while our highly drafted rookie sits on the bench and doesn't develop? i just don't see what the goal is in that scenario. . . if you draft a QB high, play that mothereffer!

Backup in case of inevitable VJ-related failure.

Why wouldn't we want more competition at the QB position?

If we get Cousins than i think we have the luxury to trade back but if not, go with a top tier QB in the draft.

Taylor isnt that good, there is a reason why Buffalo is looking to part ways with him.
