The "doing what the wife wants" part doesn't bother me it's the "doesn't want bacon smell in the house" that is disturbing.

My dad fries a pound of bacon almost every morning, so I usually eat it there. He fries it in a pan on the stove. I prefer microwaving it because I'm lazy sometimes.
