People like a good story. The Jags story would have drawn in casual fans. Patriots fatigue is a real thing. People are sick of them and tired of seeing them in super bowls.

If JAX had made it ratings would have decreased double digits. It's silly to argue otherwise.

Additionally, online streaming for this SB was the highest ever averaging 2 million viewers and peaking at 3 million in the 4th.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA

Nice statement that you can't prove. Here's one:

Had JAX made it ratings would have been up 72.391685432%. It's silly to argue otherwise.

Tom Brady provides 1,000% of the BJs given in the greater Boston area.

    It's silly to argue otherwise.

Boston is the 10th largest media market in the US.

Jacksonville is # 42. Right in front of Grand Rapids Mich.

    Grand Rapids for Christ sake.

you are missing my point - nationwide/worldwide, we all hate the patriots, more people would have tuned in to see the game because of their absence not because the love the jags or come from FL

I ended up watching when I got back. It was entertaining but horrible football.

Patriots D was so awful. PHI was something like 12 of 16 on 3rd down conversions when you include when they went for it on 4th.

Did you know Doug Pederson uses analytics to decide when to go for it on 4th down. NE fans were laughing at that prior to the game. They aren't laughing any more.

Don't be mad because I called it before the game and was right.
