Watch what he did with his front left foot when he plants and throws. That’s why the ball sailed.

Yes he was, because his mechanics were perfect

I've been at the Senior Bowl practice all week. I'm beginning to worry that he won't be there at #5 after what I saw. Mayfield has been the best QB this week IMO. Strong arm, high motor and easily the most accurate QB. Going to read through my notes and provide a report on my non-expert opinion of this week within the next couple of days. That's not to say Allen was bad, he wasn't, just Mayfield has been better in practice. My main knock on Allen is his passes sail too often and he seems to put more effort into throwing the ball hard more than being accurate with it. Allens issues can be fixed though. As it stands right now I can say without question that Mayfield is the most pro ready of the two QB's.

Hernandez loves to block through the echo of the whistle - he is causing visible frustration with this DT group. #76 is just a mean dude. And I love it.
Hernandez has EASILY been one of the best players in practice this week. The kid is a STUD and seems like an awesome kid as well. I wouldn't be shocked to see him go in the first round.

There was a time Elway wasn’t very accurate and sailed a lot of passes. Elway was of course a better prospect who had better mechanics than Allen, but the physical similarities are there, and so is the competitive nature. Elway had a major problem trying to tattoo the ball to people which resulted in the ball sailing. He didn’t fix it until he got into his late 20’s.

Please, dont compare Allen to Elway. They are not even close in comparison in terms of talent.

How many short QB's were great?

    One can only hope.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Don’t be sensitive North. Athletically they are similar. I’m not saying he’s as good a prospect as Elway. I stand by my statement
