Paradis didn’t have his hips fixed last year. His operations were after the 2017 season.

Here’s a list of NFL C’s, I count 16 of them that were converted from G or even T, off the top of my head. It’s not reinventing the wheel and I think McGovern is a good prospect. And when his contract is up he too is replaced if he’s replaceable.

My whole point is this, why extend a player that you can find in the back end of the draft?

Don’t extend an average player for the sake of continuity if you’re continuing poor performance, I could see if the Broncos had a top OL and you don’t want to mess with the chemistry. But they suck.
Well, they did suck. But with Leary going back to his LG position, Veldheer joining the group,
Bolles getting his rookie year out of the way, and reports that the Broncos are after an OG in
the draft, doesn't it seems there is hope for a much better line this year?

Hip surgeries were in January and February of 2017, after the 2016 season.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Leary and Bolles will be fine, Paradis will be his usual Meh, but given the results Denver has had with their efforts to fix RT I don’t see any reason to expect much from a RT that wasn’t much better than the ones Denver’s had for the last 5 years.

I’ll see your Jared Velheer and raise you a Scofield, Stephenson, Watson, Allen Babre and Ty Sampro. Now, given what we know about Veldheer’s injuries and poor performance the last two season, tell me why I should have any hope that he’s going to be any better than what they’ve had?

Their depth is laughable, btw, they take it so seriously that they double-down on Billy Turner.

I wonder if Leary can play Center?

Because his performances have been reported as just okay (paraphrased). But maybe I'm in error here.

That’s an upgrade at LG, on par for C.

Peter King's final mock is an absolute disaster - has us trading with Arizona only to select a DB from Central Florida with character concerns. I don't think that'd be worth it even if we got Arizona's #1 from next year.

It looks likely that Denver may trade down, but they will do it only with a player in mind.
Mike Hughes would not be that player, IMO.

I actually think it is too. There has been reports that we've been getting a lot of phone calls for our pick so I think if our top choices are gone, so are we at #5.
