It sounds to me like VJ is making excuses for Lynch. Does he really need that? Does he need his coach’s excuses and coddling for why he is no further along at the start of his 3rd year than he was his rookie year? Does he really need his coach to essentially tell the world not to expect anything because he can finally just “learn”. Playing QB isn’t rocket science.

The dude was a first round pick. It isn’t like he hasn’t already had 2 years to figure this shit out. He’s ******* lazy or stupid or both. Right now, the guy who’s a year behind him and was Mr Irrelevant is, by all accounts, kicking his ass in preparation to compete for a job that he really only needed to show that he gave a damn about to be handed. Siemian beat him out twice because he’s a POS.

Of all the shit VJ needs to be talking to the media about, excuses for Lynch’s shit development and exonerating Lynch from the blame ain’t it.

We don’t say “all about” anymore, VonDoomer, it’s lit. I saw it on a commercial, trust me.

There’s next to nothing standing in the way of Jewell being s rookie starter.

It's nice for Paxton... he doesn't have to fight for a position, etc. If it's not a poor statement on Paxton's character it's a statement by a poor leader. I, personally, believe it to be both.

Could be. That's not exactly how I read it, but that doesn't mean I read it right.

Not really. Just being my old analytic self. I have my doubts about Lynch, but they're still
allowing Lynch to prove himself. So I'll ride with that for now.

Joseph Lynch would have to compete to be the back up quarterback.
