They had all the cap space they needed for KC and the rest of their FA “haul” by not tendering any RFA and trading/cutting a CJ or two, after trading its 2nd best defensive player and tone setter. After trading Talib letting these types of players go is basically meaningless.

I think it’s safe to assume that they decided that chasing KC where his price was headed was stupid. Plus, he didn’t want to play here and JFE can’t recruit.

They talked about “being all in on Cousins” but needed Kubiak, sentimental ties and $36 M to settle for a backup talent. Cousins wanted no part of this team, that’s where we are. From PFM to CFK.

He got Leary last offseason but has otherwise swung and missed badly on the real catches like Calais Campbell, where he arrogantly entered at the last second and lowballed the **** out of him. This team doesn’t need Billy Turner, it’s needs legit answers and they’re not even in the discussion.

You don’t even hear about players coming to visit.

Since his handling of Von Miller his reputation has not been good and getting worse.

When people disrespect Elway, it almost feels like they're disrespecting family.

Actually, it has been the media that has had the FO "all-in" for Cousins. Perhaps I've missed
something, but I have never heard that directly from Elway. But recruiting?

Just a few of the recruits under his belt, and most were on those Super Bowl teams that he
put together. I just personally do not have any problems with Elway's ability to recruit.
