Jaguars are giving QB Blake Bortles a new three-year, $54 million deal, worth up to $66.5M with incentives, that includes $26.5M guaranteed, tying him to Jacksonville through the 2020 season, per source.

THIS ONES FOR JOHNWOULD YOU RATHER WIN UGLY, OR LOSE PRETTY?
i just don't think he wants to go to one of those loser organizations, when he has other options. . . he's already made fifty million plus, and he's going to get a hundred more regardless of where he goes. . . kirk is a smart, humble guy-- as far as i know, he's still driving that minivan. . . i think minnesota is probably his top choice, and we're probably his second-- clearly JMO, but i don't see him going someplace like new york or cleveland unless denver and the vikes seriously try to short-change him. . . i suppose the cards could be an option, but we have by far the best track record, and i personally believe that the front office and ownership group really matters a lot to him after getting jerked around in washington. . . we'll see. . .

Cardinals have less cap space than us. I don’t think it’s happening. I also never thought the Jags were serious on Cousins especially with Bortles potentially not passing a physical. I didn’t see the extension coming though
In any case, I think it’s us, the Vikings or the Jets. I wouldn’t rule the Jets out - they’re desperate and have a lot of money to throw around. I hope they get him, honestly
