Broncos to wear Color Rush jerseys in Week 12 home game vs. Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday! Not on Thursday!

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos on Monday submitted to the league the dates on which they will wear their Color Rush and alternate uniforms.
After two years of wearing their Color Rush uniforms on the road — in San Diego in 2016 and in Indianapolis in 2017 — the Broncos will don the emphatically orange uniform in front of their home crowd during a Week 12 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The team made it a point to give their fans the opportunity to see the Color Rush uniforms at home in 2018.

For the first time, teams are able to wear their Color Rush uniforms during any game of their choosing. Previously, the uniforms were reserved for “Thursday Night Football” matchups.

The Broncos last wore the uniforms — which include orange shoes, orange socks, orange pants, orange jerseys and blue helmets featuring Denver’s old logo — in a Week 15 game in Indianapolis in 2017. Denver came away with a 25-13 win in that contest.

Denver will also wear its alternate uniforms on two occasions in 2018.

The team will wear its blue jerseys — with either white or blue pants — in Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs and in Week 15 against the Cleveland Browns.

Both games will be played at home

if he can figure out how to block without holding on every play, i couldn't care less how dumb he sounds in interviews, or whether he can tie his own shoes without help. . .

Broncos OLB Shane Ray is getting second opinion, but as of now, another surgery on his left wrist has been recommended, per source. It would not be season-ending if he does get the surgery. #9sports

may not be season-ending, but it will probably screw his season up again, just like it did last year. . . it's looking like we won't be able to count on him. . . i wonder if they knew this prior to the draft, but either way, we're really lucky that chubb was on the board at five. . .

I think the team had some idea. Maybe why Elway didn't pick up that option.

I learned years ago to avoid any kind of talk radio that fosters anger in me.

What a great way to end the work day, listen to somebody who pisses me off for 30 minutes!

I know people don't like his commentary, but the only reason I tune in is for Big Al. Dude makes me laugh, and I love hearing his laugh. There are times I think he wants to punch DMac in the face. I honestly hope that happens one day.

DMac isn't even that bad. I think he has some level of self awareness around how he is perceived and embraces the role... Whereas Big Al is just a moron. Also, I think Dmac sometimes plays an important role at press conferences of asking the questions the rest of the media doesn't want to ask. Sure he is kind of a DB, but a harmless one - he doesn't bother me.

It's pretty funny when he gets on one of his Emmanuel Sanders hate speeches.

To tell you the truth, I can't stand either one of them. So I simply listen to someone else. *shrugs*

Emmanuel Sanders says he’s optimistic about the offense, adds that today, on offense, "Everybody’s making plays … a lot of big-time plays."

Emmanuel Sanders says the offense hasn’t found its point of emphasis yet, even though “from a package standpoint, we’re sitting pretty good” … “I think right now we’re just trying to find the formula. That’s what OTAs are about."

After 4 yrs with Tyke Tolbert, Emmanuel Sanders on new WR coach Zach Azzanni "We butted heads at the beginning. He had his ways and I had my ways. ... but we've been working it out. I've been listening to him and he's been listening to me. It's starting to pay off.'' #9sports

Justin Simmons: "There's no replacing Aqib and T.J. But Chris, Roby and Stew were also there (for the Super Bowl run). ... I know the standard of the No Fly Zone is staying because we expect nothing less. Call it what you want ... but that standard, that mindset stays the same."

Justin Simmons said there would be no celebrating the way he did last year when we wound up with sprained ankle that caused him to miss final 3 games. Said he could have played final 2 games but team wanted to look at others. #9sports

I asked #Broncos @jsimms1119 what has stuck out about young receivers Sutton and Hamilton. "They are poised. They really know the playbook. Sutton has made a few plays on 50-50 balls that he made look easy." #Denver7
