    You really can't simulate non earth conditions on earth. Different gravitational forces, weather, length of days, radiation, etc. You gotta do it for real, and it's likely going to be real messy at first. People are going to die. However, if we are ever going to try to teraform another world, mars is the logical starting point.

    This is our home. Everything else is SciFi. If Teraforming is so easy, teraform all those deserts.
