Default What Team Would You Like To See Turned Around

Clearly, we're all Broncos fans here except a couple degenerates... But usually once can "pull" for another team to do well.

What team would you like to see finally turn things around and compete for a championship?

For me, it's the Browns (yeah, I know), the Vikings and maybe the Rams and Lions could be included.

Here's a link (from before this season) of every team's record since 2000 for assistance.

    Who you got?

Oh, and North: You can't say the Patriots.

    Denver is my first choice.

But no, im kind of enjoying the turnarounds for Minny, Jax, and the Rams.

I'd like to see the Jags win it all this year. Would be a cool story. Vikes would be great as well.

I like the Bills...they have that underdog role, and haven't made the playoffs in a long time. Someone has to dethrone the Patriots in the AFCE.

I agree with Wave. Jags and Vikings are good stories this year.

Ha. The Bills made the playoffs.

I pull for the Saints when not rooting for the Broncos. Not really a "turn around" but I'm glad to see them back in the playoffs, otherwise I'd have no reason to watch.

Drew Brees will surely be missed down there when he retires (it's getting closer with each year). He is the New Orleans Saints.

Same here. People talk about perpetual underdogs, but the Browns were the best team in TWO leagues for a solid decade, with only the Rams and (ironically) Bobby Laynes Lions able to compete, usually unsuccessfully. The Eagles won a championship against Lombardi (his only playoff loss.) Granted, all that was a long time ago, but the best a decade of HoF Vikings rosters could manage was perennial runner up to the Steelers or Raiders, when the Cowboys didn't send them home earlier.

The only other team in similarly dire and lengthy straits is the Bills, but I have too many memories of the Oilers traveling to Upstate NY for playoff games against the K-Gun Offense that ended no better than winter visits to Pittsburgh and Denver—even with Kelly AND Thomas out of the game with injuries it only allowed the Oilers to give up the biggest comeback in NFL history: Screw Buffalo.
Oh, valid point. I thought you meant all starters, you should take the time to be more descriptive, don't be shy. Jaded

Browns, Lions and Jags. I also wouldn't mind seeing the Chargers because I really like their baby blue uniforms and would love to see them wearing them in a Super Bowl.

Yeah, I don't really care if the Sparklers make the SB, I just really like their powder blue uniforms. Perhaps the halftime entertainment could include a football game (similar to how the NFL used to hold Punt Pass and Kick finals during Conference Championship weekends) where one of the teams wears that uniform.

I’d like to see the Browns relevant again. The 80s and 90s Broncos-Browns matchups are etched into my brain.

I always root for the Lions too. Perpetual underdogs + other conference.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.
