Of course, this was the Jest not the Patriots but a win is a win. It's still a losing season but. . . .

Cug, if I were to treat all of us to a campfire outing, could I count on you to bring a bucket of water to throw on it?

Nah. We'd just throw him on it, since he's full of hot air and gas.

Well, Cug does come up with some well-founded arguments from time to time.
It's just that sometimes he tends to be somewhat of a Negative Nellie . . .

In this case he isnt wrong though. We did beat a bad team who eventually had to go to their backup QB who's had less live game experience than Lynch.

    Saying something about McCoy here?

We shut them out, held them to under 100 yards of total offense. Just like a blowout loss hurts more than a 3pt loss we cannot discount the manner with which they won.

You are allowed to hit a defenseless WR. That was the correct call.

Yep. After seven months of implementing McCoy's offense, you have to figure it's going to take a little time to start to introduce some of his own game plans and concepts.

It's much easier to run the ball a ton when you build a big lead early like we did in all 4 of our wins this year. Can't run the ball much when you're playing from behind.
Give me a sec. Googling causality.

I deleted that post since I read back up and saw my point had already been made by multiple people lol.

Thank you for high-fiving that post spike. I feel vindicated now!

People have this giant misconception that defenseless WRs are completely off-limits to even touch. It's perfectly legal to hit them, and hit them hard, as long as you aren't hitting them in the head/neck area, or hitting them with your own helmet. That play was a shoulder to the chest hit, which is completely clean and legal.

Yep, you explained it perfectly.. Not a foul unless it’s unnecessary, but that was bang bang and you see receivers get hit like that all the time.

I was actually kinda shocked to see the ref keep the flag in his pocket since they usually flag anything that's even close in that situation, but I was glad to see the right call made (even if it didn't go in our favor).
